I see that pre-registration is closed. Can I still register for the Car Show?
​
Yes. We will have approximately 50 spots set aside for same day registration. These same-day registrations will be available starting at 6:30 am at the event gate located on East 2nd street & East D street. Cars begin lining up about an hour early. Once these spots are gone, no additional cars will be allowed to enter the event.

I didn't receive my dash placard in the mail. How do I get a copy?
​
Please check your email for your registration confirmation. You should have received this on the day that you registered your car. Be prepared to show the confirmation email in the check-in line when you arrive. Once you have parked, please come see us at the T-Shirt/Registration booth and we will get you set up.

I didn't receive a confirmation email or the email with the Check-In Instructions

It is possible that there was a typo when entering your email on the registration form or that the emails were sent to your spam folder. Emails regarding the Car Show come from "Benicia High School Panther Band". Check-In instructions can be found here.

I'd like to park on the Green, I'd like to not park on the green, my car club (my friends) wants to park together, etc.
​
Parking is on a 1st come/1st serve basis. We cannot reserve parking spots and parking spots cannot be saved. Car clubs and other groups must check-in together in order to park together. When you enter the event you may be asked what area you'd like to be parked in. If that area is available you will be directed there by our parking volunteers. Arriving early help increase your chances of getting your desired spot. The main parking areas are "The Marina Green", "The Pier", & "First Street".

I'm registered but I would like bring a different car to enter into the show than the one I originally registered with
​
We have printed out all of the registration lists and dash registration placards in preparation for the show. If you show up to the event with a different car than the one originally registered, ask one of the volunteers for a blank dash placard that can be filled out manually.

How will cars be judged at the Car Show?
​
Cars will be judged by a panel of experts. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place will be awarded per vehicle category. There will also be a Best in Class for every decade of model years and a Best In Show. The only popular vote is our Kid's Choice Award, Kid's Choice ballots will be distributed at the show. For a full list of the award categories, click here.

Are dogs allowed at the Car Show?
​
Dogs are allowed at the event but the City of Benicia's rules regarding dogs must be followed. No dogs are allowed within the food vendor areas (signs will be marked). All dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are not allowed anywhere there are prohibited signs posted. Please keep your dog controlled at all times and clean up after them so that the City of Benicia will continue to allow us to have dogs at the car show.

I am registered for the car show but I am unable to attend. Can I get a refund?
​
The Benicia Classic Car show is a fundraiser for the Benicia High School Music Program. As stated on the registration form, and as agreed upon when submitting the registration form, registration fees are non-refundable. Your registration is tax deductible.The Panther Band Boosters is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. Tax ID 68-0366686. We thank you for your donation!
